George Richard Dowdy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2022, at the age of 72, George Richard Dowdy (Ogden, Utah), born in Pearisburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Dowdy (Meadows) and Arthur Lee Dowdy. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas and Arthur; his wife Vicki Dowdy; his children, Richard Dowdy, Chad Dowdy, Art Dowdy, Christian Vernieu, Dawnielle Steed (Shelby) and Mary Mangum (Christopher); and his siblings, Jim Dowdy and Lynette Pagano. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren; with many extended family members and friends.
