He is survived by: his parents, DeOnge Woodland Tanner and Mary Grace Edwards Tanner; his former spouses, Jeri Grigg and GeneAnn Willis; his spouse Janene Thackeray; and his siblings, Zola Lykins, Ann Boogher (Ben), LeRoy, Paul (Ann) and Stephen (Lynn). He is also survived by his children, eleven-and-a-half grandchildren.
