He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richard and Kathryn Bailey Nelson; and his brother Val Christopher Nelson. He is survived by: his former wife Janet Freston; his sister Lori Nelson; his nephew Steve Hurd; his aunt Shirlee; and his uncle Lincoln Nelson.
