He is survived by: his wife Kay Harvey; his children, Ryan Kashanipour (Logan) and Maryam Noriega (Josh); his siblings, Jaleh Panahinia (Hossein), Nahid Sarijlou (Mohammad), Mohammad Kashanipour (Jila), Azar Trachy (Tom) and Sam Kash; his sister-in-law Diane Nielsen (Richard); and his grandchildren, Amira, Ari, Mila, Sloan, Maxwell and Samuel.
