He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Matthew Buchanan and Mayme Willey Buchanan; and his siblings, Jim, Ron, Bob, Paul and Loretta.

He is survived by: his wife Lenora; and his siblings, Margret Stout and Lloyd Buchanan.
