He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilda Rosetta Kay and Oleen Charles Nicholas; his wife Stephanie Alyce Nicholas; his brothers, Oleen Keith, Charles Curtis, Leonard Chris and Loren Caroll; and his children, Jeffrey Dean, Heber Glenn, Alex Chase and Shamra Jeanne.
He is survived by: his siblings, David Kent (Linda), Jessie Chad, Gordon Kelly and Kathleen Higgins (Jim); and his children, Randy (Deanna), Jacob (Raechal), Jenafer Steckleberg (Kenny), Natalie Nash (Macklin) and Melissa (Eric). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (250 N 1500 W, Ogden, UT 84404).
