He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Harold Townsend and Beatrice Ruth Spaulding; his daughter Lonnie-Lee Batchlor; his granddaughter Brittany Ann McMillan; and his brothers, Christian James Townsend and Robert Wayne Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Lorrie Lundgreen; his sons, David Townsend (Geni) and Anthony Townsend (Sara); and his sisters, Becky Mercier (Gerald), Jeanette Sluder (Lee) and Regetta Reed. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
