She was predeceased by: her parents, Vearl George and Edna Cora Devore Barnard; her spouse Swearingen, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Steve Bolt and Jack Rohrback; and her close friend Melva Crookston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cezanne Brennan (Paul), Anita Bolt, Verleen Swearingen and Kathy Lane (Richard). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
