He is survived by: his sons, Darren DeGroot (Rhonda), Steven DeGroot and Ron DeGroot (Lori); his son-in-law Scott McCoard; and his brothers, David DeGroot (Kathy) and Keith DeGroot. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
