She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Barnett and Henrietta Bell Barnett; her husband Melvin E. Hale; her children, Debra Harris and Melvin Rand Hale; and her brother Terry Barnett.
She is survived by: her brother Jay Barnett; and her son Cory Hale. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
