She was predeceased by: her significant other William McLaurin; and her son Joseph Michael Phillips. She is survived by: her son David Phillips (Terry); her grandchildren, Joshua Phillips, Kevin Phillips (Sarah) and Lindsay Butterfield (Chris); and her great grandchildren, James, Lela, Charlie, Jack, Ryan and Murphy.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a local animal shelter in Jo's memory.
