We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2024, at the age of 91, Joanne Beverly James Hanson (Ogden, Utah), born in Salt Lake City, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William John James and Norma Jane White James. She is survived by: her sons, Brian, Brad (Cindy) and Keith (Teresa); her sister Dorothy; her children, Joy (Brett), Grant (Kammy) and Larry (Lisa); and her sibling's children, Vickie Hooten (late Herman) and Mike Shapiro. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and their spouses, two grand-kitties, 34 great-grandchildren.
Consistent with her lifetime of teaching, Joanne donated her body to the University of Utah Body Donor Program where she will instruct the next generation of medical professionals.
