He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Fred Gessel and Ella Margaret Schott; his brother Gordon Gessell; and his brother-in-law Scott Russell. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his children, Christy Valencia, Christopher Jon Gessell (Kayln), Jon Michael Gessell (Natalie) and Kimberly Weigel (Matthew); and his sister Marti Gessell Russell. He is also survived by his children, their spouses, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren.
