He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Chavez and Lorenza Zuniga. He is survived by: his wife Diana E. Ramirez Meneses; and his children, Shaylene Chavez, Olga Gonzalez, Shayla Valdez, Joey Chavez, Sheila Valdez and Joshua Chavez. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
