It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Mary Joy (Ogden, Utah), born in San Diego, California, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Dennis Orben Wright and Gene Lois Wright (Paulson); her husband Ira Dale Joy, Sr.; her siblings, Carolyn DuCharme (Susie) and Patrick Wright; and her great grandchildren, Luke Gardner and Sammy Jane Joy.

She is survived by : her children, Roy Cole (Tonia), Gary Cole (Shawna), JJ Maxwell (Terry), Jeremy Cole (Mellyn), Eileen Bernards (Steve), Barbara Joy, Ira Dale Joy, Jr. and Brian Earl Joy. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Foothill Trails Ward (1000 Suncrest Dr, Ogden, UT 84404). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Ben Lomond Cemetery (526 2850 N St, Ogden, UT 84414).
