She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Florenzo Barela Sr. and Judy Margaret Randall; her son Richard Paul Martinez; her son-in-law Steve "Playboy" Ferguson; and her siblings, Arthur Barela Jr. and Susan Sanchez.
She is survived by: her husband Davy Ray Martinez Sr.; her children, Marisa Angel Martinez (Jill) and Davy Ray Martinez Jr. (Angel); her siblings, Rodney Barela, Stephanie Barela (Jed), Angelique Rader and Savannah Barela (Louise); and her adoptive daughters, Marie Chavez, Constance Chavez Robles (Arthur) and Patricia "Patsy" Chavez (Jamie). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, dozens of adopted grandchildren, and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
