He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Thomas Dearden and Lenora Ann Stephens; and his siblings, Glen, Ralph, Val, Rose and Veda.
He is survived by: his significant other Reta Cole; and his children, Douglas Dearden (Sandy) and Misty Bond (Mark). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
