He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rudoph Gygi and Zella Hance Gygi; his stepchildren, Kenneth Gygi and Nadine Smith Gygi Crouch; his wife Karen Maurine Joseph; his son Ken; his daughters-in-law, Nadine and Christine Tate Gygi; and his granddaughter Andrea Gygi.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Janet Gygi.
