She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jacob Peterson and Polly Ann Haslam; her husband Bob; her brothers, Paul Peterson and Don; and her sister-in-law Elaine Deru.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Deru (Melanie) of St. Louis Missouri and Nancy Wilson (Matt) of Farr West, Utah.; her grandchildren, Benjamin Deru (Anna), Abigail Ackley (Tyson), Josephine Deru, Dorothy Deru, Samuel Wilson (Ciara), Emma Wilson, Sophia Wilson and Ava Wilson; her great grandchildren, Addie, Ella, Wren and Autumn; and her siblings, Karon Peterson, Joyce Platt (Rob) and Gene Peterson (Jeanne). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
She was the perfect mother and taught by example, displaying kindness, charity, service, and forgiveness to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
