With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lori Jean Pippin Nelson (Ogden, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lori Jean Pippin departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lori Jean Pippin may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lori Jean Pippin leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rick Nelson; and her parents, Jack Pippin and Beverly Pippin. She is survived by: her brother Terry Pippin (Zina); her nephews, Jacob, Joel and Jared; and her aunt Lowi.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lindquist's Memorial Gardens (1718 Combe Rd, Ogden, UT 84403). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calendar Riverdale City Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to attend a local concert, donate to a local band, or share a story around the campfire, preferably all three.
