He is survived by : his daughter Natalie Dayton (Mark); his grandchildren, Dawn Ashby (Travis), Amee Knudsen (Stephen), Tami Midzinski (Alton), Paden Mitchell (Taylor), Wyatt Mitchell (McKayli) and Dustin Mitchell (Brookell Kimose); his great grandchildren, Lane, Hadley, Zan and MaCall Ashby; his grandchildren, Diesel, Gunner, Titan Knudsen, River, Timber, Skye Midzinski, Tage, Coleson Mitchell and Harper Mitchell; and his brothers, Albert and Morris.

Many have the same good intentions that Lyle possessed regarding his friends and neighbors, but very few have the special talents that Lyle had in abundance. He was quite unique this way. He was even more so in his willingness to widely share those special attributes with the rest of us. I'm certain that our need for his special skills will continue. Each such occasion will serve as another warm reminder of our fond appreciation of him.”
