He was predeceased by: his father Ramon Nieto; his brother James Nieto; his sister-in-law Karen Nieto; and his pet Kia. He is survived by: his mother Minerva "Minnie" Aleman of Brigham City; and his siblings, Ramon Nieto, Irma Ruddell (Dan) of North Ogden and Sandy Seber (Luke) of Brigham City. He is also survived by many nieces and a nephew.
He served as chairman for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, making the event special for the community for several years.
