She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Leland Bott and Ruth Ellison Skeen; her husband Fred Clair Brown; her sister Ruth Jean Hodson (Karl); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Richards, Emmett and Annette Parker.

She is survived by: her sister Annette Richards; and her daughters, Susanne Stowers (Bob), Lori Berrett (Clayton), Colleen Tolman (Bryce) and Pam Tolman (Jay).
