He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Nye and Ann Nye; his siblings, Clydie Nye, Paul Nye, Alice Nye McGill, Dixie Nye Carruth and Nyla Nye Petersen; his son-in-law Jack Bingham; and his grandson Michael Allen Nye.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Nye (Colleen) of Kaysville, Utah, Mark Nye (Vicki) of Rexburg, Idaho, Lynette Nye Bullen of Providence, Michael Nye (Jane) of Salem, Utah and Jennifer Nye Bingham of Syracuse, Utah.; and his siblings, Susan Nye Harrop of Hooper, Utah and Phillip Nye (Susan) of Smithfield, Utah.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
