She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wesley Roper and Nellie Coker of Nevada; her son Michael Kim Carpenter (Monique) of Seattle, WA; her grandchildren, Chris Carpenter and Melissa Tuttle; her husband Duane C. Carpenter; and her siblings, Charles Eugene Roper, Bueford Talmage, Trentis Pauline, Richard Samuel and Alice Nell.
She is survived by: her children, David Duane Carpenter (Julie) of Ogden, Dennis Jay Carpenter (Janet) of Ogden and Julie Melinda Coleman (Ricky) of Centerville, GA.; her grandchildren, Jessica Brooks (Jeff), Clark Anthon (Sherry), Jordan, Patrick Galt, Ella Simone Carpenter, Gabriel Young (Shavon), Jerred Hunter (Megan), Jody Love (Darrell), Janelle Miller (David) and Christopher; and her great grandchild Patricia.
