He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold McEwan and Ida McEwan (Kinney); his brothers, Robert and Ronnie McEwan; and his wife Marilynn McEwan.
He is survived by: his children, Michael McEwan (Heather), Darcey Krogue (Bruce) and Jared McEwan (Suzanne). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
