She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nielsen and Blanche LuDean Hammer Burnett; her son John Douglas Tabarez; and her son-in-law Ned Allan Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Steve Cole of Plain City; her children, Jeanenne Chadwick (Kim), Laurie Schmidt (Tom), Steven John Tabarez and Travis James Tabarez; her stepson Josh Cole (Danielle); and her siblings, Paul Burnett (Connie), LuDean Price, Pam Combs and Linda Maero (Mike). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Plain City Chapel (2952 N 4200 W, Plain City, UT 84404). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park (4500 E Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84403).
