She was predeceased by: her significant other John DeHart; and her parents, Ray J. Pierson and Ann Chard Pierson. She is survived by: her children, Heather Overmyer (Dave), Bethany Schreier (Richard) and Michael DeHart (Anila); and her brother Jeff Pierson (Amy). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
