He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Harper and Ada Belle Barney Wright; his brother Leon Wright (Joey); his in-laws, Willis and Josephine Thomas; and his brother-in-law Ted Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Crystal Thomas; his children, Kami Blackburn (Darren) of Morgan, Dee Jay Wright (Allison) of Morgan, Kelly Pearson (Casey) of Hooper and Cody Wright (Heather) of Hooper; his grandchildren, Blaise, Saige Blackburn, Bailee Berthold (Cameron), Bodee, Boston Wright, Bryson Pearson (Kylee), Jayden Wright, Gunner Pearson, Adelynn, Colter, Blake and Zac Wright; his great grandchildren, Ledger and Swayze Pearson; his brothers, Gene Wright (Ginny) of Kaneohe, Steven Wright (Kathy) of Draper, Russell Wright (Mary) of Indiana and Duane Wright (Karen) of Ogden; and his sister-in-law Verla Standley (Doug) of Ogden.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary (3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park (4500 S Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84403).
