With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Reed B Hancock (Ogden, Utah), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Reed left this world on May 13, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber John and Laura May Blanch Hancock; his sons, Chad and Brad Hancock; and his siblings, Max, Gene, Val Hancock and Ruth Goodfellow.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Douglas R. Hancock (Susan), Carol Hancock, Jana Schultz (Lynn), Aaron H Hancock (Kathy), Christine Lobato (Mauro) and Angie Jeffs (David); and his brother Terry Hancock (Ronda). He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Book Hotel Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary (3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Book Hotel West Weber Cemetery (4590 950 N, Ogden, UT 84404).
