He was predeceased by : his father Howard Thomas Smith; his wife Roberta Brown; and his brother Tom Smith. He is survived by : his children, Richie, Jason and Natalie (Spence); and his brother Bruce (Linda). He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park (836 36th St, Ogden, UT 84403). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
