He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlow Rich and Irene Grace Wilson; his sister Sheila Joy Sitterud; his granddaughters, Brittany Scadlock and Finley Scadlock; his great grandchild Max Kelson; and his son-in-law C. Seth Ferrin.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Petersen (Jeff), Bart Rich (Heather), Nicole Scadlock (Terry), Angie Ferrin, Heather Albert (Paul) and Amber Parker (Kevin); and his brothers, Jay DeeVyrle Rich of Roy, Utah. and Harry Lee Rich (Karen) of Roy, Utah.. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
