He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Houghtalen and Helen Houghtalen; his siblings, Alta DeFusco and Harry Houghtalen; his grandson Frankie Noto; and his great grandchild Stephen Horn.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Jameson (Lew), Cynthia Noto (Frank), James Houghtalen (Stephanie), Michael Houghtalen (Aimee) and Jennifer Cooley (Jason); his daughter-in-law Barbara Houghtalen; his wife Mimi Bauer; and his son Robert Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
