She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James and Adriana Elizabeth Denkers Simpson; her daughter-in-law Carol; her granddaughter Peggy Dae; and her sisters, Ruth Hancock, Jean Hadley, Marie Simpson and Effie Furniss.

She is survived by: her children, Greg West, Royan West Smania and Linda Gangwer (Randy). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
