He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orville Glen and Eleanor Leila Holmes; his wife Dixie Lee Dearden; his grandsons, Mick, Wade and Scott; his siblings, Sherman, LaMont Holmes and Marilyn Walters; his great grandchild Zoe Parker; his children, Kim Lyons (Matt), Mick Holmes (Sheri), Wade Holmes (Julie) and Scott Holmes (Heather); and his siblings, Lois Huston (Larry) and Reed Holmes (Brenda).
