He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Benson and Lorna Benson (Parks); his siblings, Alva and Celia; and his great grandchild Ren Benson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Benson (Wiltse); his children, Michael (Camron), Kristi (Mike) and Matthew (Dana); his grandchildren, Melissa, Sidney, Andrew, Nathan, Mason and Libby; his great grandchildren, Alexi, Caden, Ryker, Kashdyn, Izyk, Amelia, Westyn, Rextyn, Nash, TaLeigha and Treysen; and his sisters, Pamela, Yvonne, Lesa, Phyllis, Marie and Stephanie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
