Shirley Thornock Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Thornock (Ogden, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace L. Tams and Lucille F. Tams; her daughter Shirlene Pierce (Larry); her husband George; her granddaughter Shirley Anne Pierce; and her siblings, Helen Burdett (Fred), Vernon Tams (Ruth) and Louis Tams.
She is survived by: her children, Georgine Hadley (Ken), George Thornock (Sandy) and Tami Mead (Doug); and her brother Kenneth Tams (Myra). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; sixty-five great-grandchildren; and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren.
Her children request that, in lieu of flowers, you please take your families out for ice cream, where Shirley would want you to enjoy spending time together with sticky fingers and smiles, sharing memories and stories.
