With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Ward (Ogden, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Stephen departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Stephen leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Henry Ward and Floetta Nelson Ward. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gunnell Ward; his children, Wendy Allan (Benjamin) and Kiley Ward (Chantai); and his sister Sharon Hunsaker (Fred). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Myers Mortuary - Ogden (845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (100 Monroe Blvd, Ogden, UT 84404).
