She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Nelson Sr. and Lucy Dean Donaldson; her stepfather Thomas Donaldson; and her siblings, Richard Felton and Sharlet Drake.
She is survived by: her children, Darelle Brown and Shevonne Nelson; her brothers, Anthony Williams and Earnest Nelson Jr.; her brother-in-law Jerry Drake; and her aunts, Eunice Pitre (Arizona) and Ida Hill (Texas). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
