It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivien Joyce Dean Boyington (Ogden, Utah), who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Dean and Helen Roberta Hufstettler Dean; her husband Delbert Lavon Boyington; her son Mark; her granddaughter Nicole; and her siblings, Helen Margaret Weaver, Mildred N. Pierson, Cecilia Marian Heninger, Barbara Vlaanderen, William Robert Dean and Edward E. Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Shaw-Freeman (Rich), Kathy Kelson, Craig Boyington, Jan Reney (Mike), Kristy Arko (John), Kent D. Boyington (Teresa), Lori Wood (Dennis) and Kirk Boyington; and her siblings, Dorothy Roberta Dean, Francis Biederman, Norma Kay Dean, Kirk, Kadee, Jannael, Ashley and Shay. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Primary Children's Hospital, Juvenile Diabetes or the YCC Family Crisis Center.
