He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Emery and Lillian Rose Maus Hedges; his son David; and his sister Maxine. He is survived by: his wife Ann Bock; his children, Dawson (Lorraine), Julie Brown (Steve), Andrew (JoAnn), Elizabeth Rogers (Bill), Amy Anderson (Greg), Faith Hardin (Frazier), Rose Hedges and Ashley Hedges (O. J. Zamora); and his siblings, Georgeanne and Margot.
