With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilbur Dean Wilson (Ogden, Utah), born in Logan, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Wilbur may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wilbur touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Afton Wilson; and his parents, Dr. Wilburn Wilson and Rebecca Ann Holland. He is survived by: his daughter Diane Hansen; his brother Ken Wilson; his grandchildren, Nicholas Craven, Rachelle Johnson and Cari Vernier; his sister-in-law LuRae Wilson; and his pet Penni. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary (3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park (4500 S Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84403).
