He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jory and Elizabeth Cowlishaw; and his sister Laurel. He is survived by: his former wife Karen Sessions; his wife Jeanette VanWeerd; his sister Becky; his daughters, Jennifer (Mike), Nicole (Tom) and Melissa (Derek); his grandchildren, Breanna, Bailey, Laine, Payton, Chris, Gabe, Trinity, Rayden and Sheldon; and his great grandchildren, Dillon, Zayden and Ziah. He is also survived by 4 stepchildren, 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers perhaps a prayer for all our fallen soldiers and a quiet understanding of the lifelong cost of our freedom.
