He was predeceased by: his son Ricky Kopinski. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kopinski (Thompson); his sons, Todd Kopinski, Jeff Kopinski and Kevin Kopinski; his siblings, Doris, Kenny and Donald Kopinski; and his children, Mike, Steve, Brett and Mitch Hales.
