He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his close friend Peggy Hancock; his sister VeRene Tait; and his children, Rebecca Buescher (Joseph), Sharon Glazier (Barry), Mack B. Esplin (Robyn), Merlin Esplin (Christine) and Wade Esplin (Rebecca). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Mack and Betty Esplin Scholarship Fund at the Kane County School District office.
