He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his parents, Lawrence Milton and Thelma Madsen Larsen; and his siblings, Dale (Jocie), Shirley Valeen, Audrey Bailey (Frank LaMar) and Barbara Hamlin.
He is survived by: his children, Darren (JoMarie), Tammie Richardson (Tad), Matthew (Kerri) and Julianne Atkinson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
