He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Lional Barton and Willamelia Frost Barton; his daughters, Rebecca Barton and Becky of Leukemia; and his grandson McKay Mortensen.
He is survived by : his wife Ellen Ann Allen of Provo; and his children, Audrey Nielsen (Kelly), Annette Mortensen (Spencer), Edson King II Barton (Nikki) and Lewis Lloyd Barton (Amber). He is also survived by spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
