She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ray Bateman and Joy Player Bateman; her sons, Peter and James Smith; and her husband Larry Danley.
She is survived by: her children, Jayson Charles Smith (Carin) of Virginia, Jinjer Smith Donaldson (Peter) of Draper and John Preston Smith (Shannon) of Draper; and her siblings, Michael Bateman, Jolene Tanner and Cindy Caldwell. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wheeler-Sundberg Funeral Home (495 S State St, Orem, UT 84058). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at the Camp Williams Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, in honor of Jill's courageous, lifelong battle with the disease.
