He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sheriff and Effie Roper Sheriff; his wife Sally Sheriff; his grandson Colby Sheriff; and his siblings, Cleon Sheriff, Nadine Notton and Mignon Griffiths.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Barbakos (Brent), Greg Sheriff (Erika), Chris Sheriff (Kristin) and Kelly Sheriff (Leslie); and his sister-in-law Diane Thompson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
