She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Elias Asay (Lyle) and Elsie Egan Asay; her husband Mel Merrill; and her grandmother Lila. She is survived by: her child First Grade. She is also survived by 131 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nelson Family Mortuary (4780 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84604). A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Orem Cemetery (1520 N 800 E, Orem, UT 84097).
